Local Chambers of Commerce for CV37 8QP. These can be an extraordinarily effective way of getting into the business community and / or getting things done. Equally they can be entirely useless depending on the chair. If they have networking events associated with them definitely go, and keep going, if you have a business that need local support. What you put in is exactly what you get out. Below is the national site. Watch this slot - it might improve!
Stratford-upon-Avon Registration Office

Winton House, Church St, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6HB, UK – 0300 555 0255

Nice venue for a bit of registration. The registrar involved in our event was a little officious, but in a nice way. I guess you have to move people along and keep to the timetable. If I was having to be registered and lived near Stratford-upon-Avon then this would definitely be a contender.

Dental Surgeries

Langmans Dental Health Centres

28 Ely St, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6LW, UK – 01789 292460

I am very pleased with the quality of care and advice I have had from Langmans. I have recommended them to family and friends. The reception staff are friendly and welcoming. My dentist is really thorough and the hygienist is fantastic. My children are comfortable and at ease when going their appointments. Central location with parking is also a bonus.

Loved my latest hygienist visit trying out the Airflow polish. Teeth feel amazingly clean and look so much brighter. Definitely worth the extra £11. Will be having this treatment again.

Pennington Dental Stratford

Stratford Healthcare, Arden Street, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6HJ, UK – 01789 205254

As being a child i am anxious of the dentist and having 2 teeth out i was very nervous but the atmosphere is very good and it takes your mind of everything and my dentist Mr F Jamall was amazing very humours making me laugh taking my mind of some of the pain. As a mum, i went with Isaac to have his two teeth out, and was a little apprehensive . However Mr. Jamall was great, made us both feel relaxed, explained what he was going to do, and took the teeth out, quickly with no pain or discomfort. He is a great dentist, for adults as well, as i am an extremely nervous patient after having a very bad experience years ago, but after having had treatment with Mr. Jamall my confidence has been completely restored .

The best dental practice I have ever been to! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the receiptionist was absolutely lovely and really helped when I phoned several time to change my appointment. The dentist was great and really helped (I was a bit nervous before hand as I was having a tooth extraction), she was very friendly and talked to me while doing the procedure which kept me at ease. Was also very cheap and free if you are on any income support, and even if you are not it is a fraction of the cost of going private! I think an extraction was about £50 whereas privately this would have cost hundreds for the extraction, prescription and checkup! They are also happy to help afterwards and are only a phone call away. This is now my permanent dentist despite living in Milton Keynes, well worth the drive! Nick

Evesham Place Dental Practice

14 Evesham Pl, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6HT, UK – 01789 293486

I have been visiting Andrew and the team at Evesham Place for 22 years and without doubt I can not praise this dental practice highly enough ! All the team members from dentists, nurses and reception staff are extremely helpful, knowledgeable and caring. The practice has invested heavily down the years in new state of the art equipment and is able to offer its patients the latest and very best quick, pain free and effective solutions to all their needs. Furthermore as someone who has knowledge of the dental market I can confirm that all treatment carried out at the practice is done so using the very best quality materials available. Well done Andrew & the team keep up the good work !

I developed toothache in the top left hand side of my mouth which wasn't going to get me through Christmas without a lot of agony. I rang the Dentist and immediately saw Katharine. X-Rays were taken to show that my diagnosis of upper left 4-5 was someway out and tooth number 8 was in trouble. Katherine's diary was full, so Stephen kindly offered to repair the decay later the same day. Whilst I'm not a fan of the Dentist, the treatment I received, compliments of the NHS, was first class and quick. The following day I had slight jaw ache as my mouth isn't quite as big as Stephen's equipment but the day after I was back to normal. Great experience as both Dentist's quickly diagnosed the problem and promptly fixed it keeping me fully informed what I was about to feel and experience. Highly recommend for those in fear of the Dentist. Well done, Thank You and Happy Christmas.

Well what a find! Having recently moved from Dubai, being used to some of the best aesthetic doctors in the world, I was looking for someone to continue a relationship with here in England. Sarah has proved a delight in all aspects of the clinic that she offers. Careful consultation and immaculate attention to detail Sarah is an aesthetic doctor with real quality. Pleased to recommend and happy to refer.

Excellent service. Staff were efficient and courteous.

I went to the minor injuries unit today with a squashed toe. The experience couldn't have been better. The nurses and staff were calming, chatty and lovely. I was in and out of there in about an hour and half having had an assessment, x-ray and a diagnosis of a bruised but unbroken toe. A big thank you to all !

Find Local Churches & Places of Worship

Holy Trinity Church

Old Town, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6BG, UK – 01789 266316

Wonderful place of worship. These historical churches cost a fortune to keep open, so a donation of £3 is very little to pay to view this beautiful monument and one is blessed , a bonus , to see where the bard is buried.

Amazing experience. So tranquil place. William Shakespeare burial place is fabulous. Will have to go again to explore it in a bit more detail.

The Guild Chapel

Chapel Ln, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6EP, UK

I would say it's mandatory to stop this chapel if visiting Stratford-upon-Avon. It only needs a few minutes to visit, and it is next to other (better advertised) sites. This would be a building from Shakespeare's childhood, and Shakespeare picked the house next-door to buy when he grew up. It would be useful to have a bit more history of this medieval chapel available when visiting. There are a lot of curious and interesting things inside, and it's a very pretty building.

Interesting structure with iconography from pre-reformation days

Oasis Christian Centre

Old Town Square, Stratford-upon-Avon, Shottery CV37 9HG, UK – 07840 043030

We visited Oasis Christian Centre whilst on our holidays at Stratford upon Avon and are so glad we did. We found a group of people who are serious about following Jesus and who have fun on the way. We were made really welcome and felt at home from the minute we got there. The worship style was contemporary and Holy Spirit filled. If we lived in Stratford it would be our home church.

The Shakespeare Hospice Bookshop

45A Rother St, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6LT, UK – 01789 209232

Superb used book store. Excellent variety, good quality books and good prices. Also can have coffee there. It is not far from the Shakespeare tourist attractions.

Great selection of secondhand books and it also has a small cafe which makes great cappuccinos and americanos for only £2. You can even sit outside al fresco and marvel at Stratford's oldest building, an ancient Tudor house called Mason's Court, which is just across the street. If you aren't in a hurry it's a great place to visit. It's just minutes away from the Rother Street Market, Old Town and Shakespeare's Birthplace house and not far from the Stratford Rail Station.

Give and get free stuff. Here you will find lots of items that people are willing to give away, for FREE! This is instead of taking them to a local landfill site. The aim of this site is to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill (20.9 million tonnes of it last year in the UK) and recycling is great news for the environment.
We all know that we need to recycle more - and this is a great way of doing it.

Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Lower Quinton

Bensons Restaurant & Tea Rooms

40 Henley St, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6EY, UK – 01789 415572

A wonderful coffee shop located in what would arguably be the most desirable commercial location in Stratford-upon-Avon. The food is excellent and the ambience is wonderful. Why only 3 stars you ask? Sadly the disgustingly slow service kills what would have normally been an easy review. It takes nearly an hour to get food, so don't even consider visiting if you are in need of a substantial meal. Otherwise though- great choice for coffee and cake :-)

Great location and coffee was good too! Really great staff

Premier Inn Stratford Upon Avon Waterways

The Waterways, Birmingham Road, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 0AW, UK – 0871 527 9316

I went with my mum and her guide dog. The hotel staff couldn't have been more attentive if they tried, nothing was too much trouble for them. We are in the restaurant for supper and breakfast. Food was delicious. We've already booked twice more for this year and for Easter next year :-)

The room we had was fine, never have any problems with this in any premier Inn we stay at. However, the restaurant here is far too small for the number of rooms. We tried to get a table at 6pm for dinner but we're told that they were fully booked. We sat at a table by the bar to have a drink while deciding where else we could go (not easy with three kids, one being only 4 weeks old!) After half an hour the restaurant was still empty. We asked if we could eat at the table we were at only to be told that we couldn't as they had already let some other people do it so can't let anyone else... yet we could order desserts if we wanted. Not sure how that differs to be honest. We went back to the room to get sorted then ended up having to go to McDonald's (devastated!) However as we passed the restaurant we saw that there were tables still free... one and a half hours after we originally sat down. We could have eaten in that time! Then in the morning we had to wait about 20 minutes for a table, only to have one family seated before us that came after us as there was no system for monitoring the order people arrived. The breakfast was nice as always and as I said at the start, the room was good too, just disappointed with the restaurant.

that's the school that I go to!!!

King Edward VI School

7A Church St, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6HB, UK – 01789 293351

Did the tour and really enjoyed it. I was really impressed by the depth of knowledge of the staff. One of them, Hugo, was a current student!

This Grammar school in the heart of the town is an historical gem. Where William Shakespeare went to school. The original classroom that was used by the Bard has now for the first time been open to the public. A real treat in getting to see how the young Shakespeare's education formed his adult success. The school is still one of the top Grammar schools in the country. If you visit Stratford upon Avon..... This is a must see.
