We were passing by so, as we are Bannatyne members, we went in for a look around... We were shown around by a lovely lady named Kim and all we can say is what a fabulous gym this is! There is definitely a feel-good factor to this gym and we are booking to come for the day soon. We have been members at the Mansfield gym and treat our Bannatyne gym as our 3rd place, after home and work. I think we have now found a 4th. Brilliant! 😊
This has been my second home for 10 years where I do 2 and sometimes 3 classes a day every day. I’m looking forward to any positivity that will come with the change of ownership and hope with all my heart that we don’t loose any of our above excellent class tutors and fitness trainers. New ideas will be wonderful but any negative rewards will cause our amazing tutors to leave; especially any salary changes that may bring them on par with already established spas and health clubs; also I hope that the bringing in tutors from outside who invoice their time remains. I enjoy the experience of a different tutor everyday who, by their own personality, put a different perspective on each class. With regards, respect and love for all my tutors and class colleagues, I wish the best for the future of the Spa at Wildmoor :-)

Lovely building, the treatments were amazing. The gardens would be lovely in the summer and is a stones throw from the town. Downside was the pool heating was broken, members said it had been like it for a while. A but annoying is you are on a day spa. Didn't like walking through the hotel to get to afternoon tea in our robes, it feels quite odd paying by large business meetings and other fully dressed guests wearing a dressing gown. Having said that, the food was amazing and as a non gluten eater I was really impressed with the offer, amazing cakes!
Lovely Elizabethan Building in an excellent location. Staff needs more training. Reception staff were either excellent or rude. Breakfast waiting staff were very forgetful. We had to ask for coffee three times before it finally arrived. No fridge in our room so we asked for ice but it never arrived. Our suite was lovely but we were rudely awoken by loud crashes and voices from the kitchens beneath our room at around 7am when the breakfast service kicked off. Could have been perfect. Should have been excellent. It was just ok...
