An excellent hotel, conveniently located to take a short stroll to the RSC theatre and the town centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and complimentary tea, biscuits and bottled water in the fridge was a nice touch. The buffet breakfast in the morning was to a very high standard.
We had a lovely suite which was enourmous! Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet was perfect. Central location so good access to local facilities.

I and my wife stayed at this hotel for one night on Saturday 11th of May just gone. The hotel staff were brilliant and so were the facilities and i would still recommend it! Sadly our stay experience wasn't so good though, because on going to bed at about 10.30 we were in room 211 on the first floor and business class was above us. We heard a door slam above and then for one hour continuous heavy feet above us! This wasn't normal walking about but deliberate harassment. We then decided to complain, the staff had a word with them and we settled down again, but it made no difference! They were quieter but tapping instead of clumping,so i demanded another room, which gratefully we got on the business floor were they were. We then had about six hours sleep and were given a free breakfast, which was lovely. I hate to complain because the staff did their best, but it was just some inconsiderate people that caused our problem and not anything else! I would stay there again and if ever needed to would do so.
A bit of a wait to get checked in as the receptionist decided to take up general conversation with some other guests. However, after finally getting through the initial checking in process all other members of staff were very helpful and friendly throughout the duration of our stay. The rooms only possess the bare essentials (TV, king-size bed, kettle, ensuite) but most importantly the room was clean, and as people just looking for a location to touch base and get our head down between daily activities this was really the only vital component. A restaurant was to be found on the ground floor of the vicinity offering a variety of starters, mains, sides and desserts, all of which are available during peak dining times with a downsized offering available at all hours day or night. Drinks are also available from the warm, welcoming bar staff however I do feel these as well as the food menu were a little over priced, but that is the cost of convenience. Ample parking spaces are located on the grounds with the addition of disabled parking, rooms and facilities all accessible and lifts for access to rooms above ground level.

Came here for afternoon tea. Did not stay here so can not rate rooms etc. The afternoon tea was great, my fiance has a nut allergy and the chef prepared a afternoon tea box just for her. It was a great touch and real class. Service was great, sandwiches were very good plus the selection of cakes/scones were delicious. Would definitely recommend this place.
We stayed here for two nights. We were upgraded to a privilege room at no extra cost. It was very spacious, and characterful. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel and we hope to visit again.

The Encore is an unexpected nice experience. Closely situated near the river, this place gets enough footfall to not need to serve excellent food, but they do. Thoroughly enjoyable drinks and a wonderful sauce with their spit roasted chicken. The pea soup was also a pleasant and tasty surprise. Recommended.
Delicious food, clean and modern location. We ordered the British Venison and the fillet and they were both great dishes. Priced at about 20 pounds per dish. Lovely staff. The restaurant up stairs has a nice view of the river.

Good food and excellent service. As you walk through the door you are greeted with a vibrant pub however the dining area has a relaxed atmosphere. The food was great along with excellent service. Prices are reasonable given its location and proximity to Shakespeare's house. Car park is small and gets crowded. However there is a pay and display area across the road (£3 for an evening)
Nice bar with friendly staff. A had a small room provided for the wedding party, good range of beers.

This would have once been a lovely pub for a drinking and catching up with friends, it has now been converted so that 60%+ of the space is a fancy pants restaurant and probably only 5 tables left for those who want a drink. The front bar was crammed with locals on my visit and I had the feeling I wasn’t welcome, tried the back bar and there were so few tables I had to leave and find an alternative place for a pint. Shame really, a few more drinking tables would really help the passing drinker
Highly recommend it! The half slow-cooked chicken with butter and parsley sauce was very hot, tender, and juicy. The meat was coming off the bone. Super delicious!!! The rosemary-salted fries were crispy and hot. Just perfect!! Then you add the corn on the cob and the cole slaw. Goodness, one of the best meals I’ve had in my entire trip. Thank you!

Stayed here whilst exhibiting at the Contemporary Art Fair, Discover Gather Give. This hotel was great, Tim was very friendly and helpful with great recommendations of restaurants etc. The room was great value for money for someone on a budget. Especially helpful that the price included breakfast! It's close to the town centre so ideal location. The bed was super comfortable too. I dont think the photos actually do the place justice. If I visit Stratford-upon-avon again I'll definitely rebook if there's space!
Just spent a night at this central B & B and it was perfect. Comfortable room with lots of fluffy towels in the bathroom. The owner is very welcoming and my breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended.

If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!

We rented 42 Shakespeare Street for a week for our family who were visiting us. The cottage was excellent in every respect, spotlessly clean and has all the facilities needed to make our family’s stay very comfortable. It was a very short walk to all the tourist attractions. The off street parking was an added bonus in this very busy town.

Location is good. The cottage is nice, even if very old fashioned. Very clean. Too many spiders have made it their home though!
Great place. Good amenities, would definitely consider coming back. Only downside, a little pricey.

Really good large park with large amounts of static and mobile caravans. We went glamping, as they have a few cabins, and I'd recommend it. There's a large clubhouse with restaurant and separate bar. They also have sports on a large screen. There's a boat into town costing £2 per journey.
Stayed in one of the Snug glamping pods for the weekend and it was perfect! Used mainly as a base to go sightseeing so didn't spend too much time on the site itself. There is a water taxi that will take you into the town centre (which is cheaper than paying for parking). Crazy golf and a brilliant play area for children. Facilities are great and staff really helpful. The Snugs themselves and lovely but pack efficiently as they aren't the biggest of places! Decked area outside each Snug for BBQs. Car parking about 20 metres from Snugs. Washing, showering and toilet facilities for all glampers. Perfect little getaway!

Dodwell park is primarily a Mobil home Park, though it does have a field for camping and some hard standing for caravans. Toilets and a small shop are features of the campsite. The shop is also open to the residents of the mobile homes. Some of these have been residents for a long time here. Like my mother who moved into her first home on the site in 1976 and has only moved once since then, from a large single unit to a double one. This was due to the arrival of my sister and the need for more bedrooms. Dodwell has seen many changes over the years but still remains a very attractive park for both residents and visiting campers.
Quite site. Wardens really friendly and helpful. Bit pricey for the facilities. Suppose your paying for the location. Added bonus it's open all year round

We are not fans of camping in Britain but compared to what others are charging for very little this site comes out as a good one. Lovely setting on the river, easy access to Stratford, new restaurant on site and toilet blocks aren't too bad. 10 mins walk to a spar shop, Chinese restaurant and a pub x
Fabulous with wonderful club house with Saturday entertainment in summer.
