Pub Food with Reviews, Maps and Links to their websites

The One Elm

1 Guild St, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6QZ, UK – 01789 404919

Good food and excellent service. As you walk through the door you are greeted with a vibrant pub however the dining area has a relaxed atmosphere. The food was great along with excellent service. Prices are reasonable given its location and proximity to Shakespeare's house. Car park is small and gets crowded. However there is a pay and display area across the road (£3 for an evening)

Nice bar with friendly staff. A had a small room provided for the wedding party, good range of beers.

Rose & Crown

15 Sheep St, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6EF, UK – 01789 415723

Great pub. Full of history. I'm sure Bill and Ted kidnapped a historical person here at one time. Party on dudes

The Golden Bee

41-42 Sheep St, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6EE, UK – 01789 203860

Stopped off for a quick lunch with the family. Accidentally left my bag behind with wallet/cash/car keys etc - super friendly staff had kept it safe for me behind the bar. Thanks again! Great location by the river and theatre. Standard prices - not tourist prices! Nice decor and bar area. Will defiantly visit again!

Can't complain about the food considering the price but as yet have never had a hot breakfast. Mind you a full breakfast for under £4 I won't complain. Good range of beers at keen prices. Place could do with a bit of an overhaul decor wise. Strangely enough I keep going back. Specials nights are very good value. Had steak on numerous occasions and not had a bad one yet. Fed 4 with steaks and drinks for less than £40. If you want straight forward drinks and meal then it's great.

Sorrento Restaurant

8 Ely St, Stratford-upon-Avon, Stratford upon Avon CV37 6LW, UK – 01789 297999

Fabulous authentic Italian. Impeccable service and food to die for. Had mussels to start followed by the halibut to main, was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

Really good proper Italian restaurant, family run, eat outside if its good weather, great choice of fish as well as all the usuals.

Loxleys Restaurant & Wine Bar

3 Sheep St, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6EF, UK – 01789 292128

Second visit to this restaurant, lovely friendly staff and food has been great both times. Little pricey but you feel it was worth it as you come away with a lovely feeling of having had a nice meal in a nice setting with very attentive staff who really look after you. Would definitely recommend a visit .

Located in a historic building, the interior is welcoming and cosy. Service was attentive and friendly. However the reason for going to a restaurant - the food, wasn't anything special and was made worse by each dish being overpriced by several pounds. I had a rib eye steak - the meat was not of a high quality as it was fatty and bland. It was served with a small mushroom, a bit of green stuff, a bit of tomato and a cup of tripple cooked chips. My wife had swordfish which she was also disappointed with. Price for two courses including service and a bottle of wine was just under £100. Having been to both, I'd recommend the Vintner next door rather than Loxleys.

Rooftop Restaurant

43a Waterside, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 7LS, UK – 01789 403493

Location and view is amazing. Book well in advance if you would like a window table. Well worth it. Service was great and the speed of the food service was quick. Not the cheapest place in town, however its a great one off night out before the theatre.

Ate at the Rooftop Restaurant for a special meal for both couples. A 1st Wedding Anniversary and 9th Wedding Anniversary. Staff were attentive and friendly and offered recommendations. Beautiful views over the river on the terrace and luckily we were sat on a table with a great view. It is around £50-60 per head with drinks but lovely for a special occassion.

Chinese Restaurants serving the Lower Quinton area

China Kitchen

29 Meer St, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6QB, UK – 01789 293522

First time visit Avon . Just at the right time and right location I ran into this take away restaurant. Ordered food back to the hotel. I, a Chinese and my husband, a western guy. Both us enjoy the food very much. The kitchen treated me a bag of pawn crackers was taste good too. Definitely come again when I next visit Avon.

Always had a brilliant takeaway from this place. Don't go anywhere else now. Highly recommended for the quality of food.

Mr Chan's Restaurant

3 Main St, Tiddington, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 7AZ, UK – 01789 261616

Decided to pop in for a late night dinner and so glad we did, it’s the best Chinese we have had by far in a long time. I haven’t been to Mr Chans for ten years plus despite living locally but will definitely be returning more often. Great service, very reasonable prices and the food was excellent.

Chose a selection of dishes and everyone of them was delicious. Service was prompt and operated like a well oiled machine. Lovely competent staff. Average prices x

Stratford Chinese Cuisine

4 Greenhill St, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6LF, UK – 01789 204333

As always good friendly service and good food

Went to lunch. The lunch menu is smaller than the evening menu. Choice was srill good and excellent value for money.

Indian Restaurants and takeaways in or near Lower Quinton

Thespians

26 Sheep St, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6EF, UK – 01789 267187

We had a fantastic family meal here. We were very well looked after, great customer service and everyone enjoyed their meal! Thanks guys

Great place very friendly and efficient sat us down drinks and food came quick , nice and hot and very tasty .

Hussains Indian Cuisine

6A Chapel St, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6EP, UK – 01789 267506

It might not look like it, but I had the the nicest Indian meal I can remember here.

Each year there are new trendy places to eat in Stratford. And we've tried a few. But we have been coming to Hussains for nearly 30 years now for pre theatre meals when we visit, and it never disappoints. Enclosed, with a roaring fire, an old clubby feel and really attentive staff, it's definitely worth finding.

Avon Spice

7 Greenhill St, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6LF, UK – 01789 267067

Good people good food! Most of the time. A couple of the staff not as on point as the others. Anyone who thinks they know hot food should challenge them.... they are equal to the challenge whilst retaining flavour.

Superb food served by very friendly staff. Will do any of your favourite dishes if they arent on the already extensive menu.

Italian Pasta and Pizza Restaurants

Wildwood

10-11 Sheep St, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6EF, UK – 01789 262910

Very clean inside with prompt service. My only complaint was the size of my risotto portion could have been a little larger, although there was nothing wrong with the taste. The pizzas looked a better option for my next visit.

Excellent food, friendly, courteous service. Nice atmosphere too! Also recommend a Monday or Tuesday evening, half price main dishes! Bill put a smile on our faces!

Prezzo Stratford Upon Avon

22 Wood St, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6JF, UK – 01789 290933

Good food and reasonable service

Love this Prezzo. The staff are always friendly. It's one of the best restaurants in the chain

Marco's New York Italian

17 - 19 Chapel St, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6ER, UK – 01789 293949

Ok. Obviously v quiet on a Monday night. Staff were nice. Food nice enough. Quirky setting.

Went with a Groupon voucher for 2 .good value for £21. Limited menu but the food and drinks were very nice.would go again with a voucher.

Vegetarian or Vegan Restaurants

The Opposition

13 Sheep St, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6EF, UK – 01789 269980

Pork fillet and belly was delicious. Staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is great for pre-theatre or a date. However, there could be more vegetarian options and the waitress forgot to give me my change after I'd payed the bill.

Been to stratford many times but this is the best meal i have had here by far. All 3 courses were amazing. Great service and nice relaxed atmosphere. The lamb shank main was simply amazing, the way the meat broke away from the bone was top notch and very tasty. Great desserts as well.

Pizza Hut Restaurants

The Maybird Retail Park, Birmingham Rd, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 0HZ, UK – 01789 204182

Food was great. Staff weren't that amazing. The lady serving was rude.

Nice cosey place compared to other pizza huts. Staff are friendly and the service was quick although it was really quite at the time. The ice machine worked too 😁

Edward Moon

9 Chapel St, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6EP, UK – 01789 267069

We stumbled in from the busy market and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The staff were quite busy, but we were served quite quickly. We tried the seafood platter, deep fried brie and a Bangers and Mash. All of the food was very generously portioned and to very good quality. The sausages are from the butchers two doors down so we had to get some for ourselves afterwards. Very nice place, well positioned near the high street and enjoyable good quality food. Will definitely return.

Absolutely gorgeous food, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Excellent value for money. Highly recommend! Looking forward to visiting again.

Wine Bars and Cocktail Bars

Union Cocktail Bar

38 Guild St, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6QY, UK – 01789 299144

Great wings good cocktails service was good but not great could have been more inviting missed a bit of atmosphere.. nearly there just missed the mark that night

Absolutely love this place, if I was from the area I'd be a regular! Myself and my boyfriend popped in on a Wednesday not knowing it was quiz night which included free nachos. Unfortunately we missed the beginning and got chatting to the lovely lady behind the bar with blue hair, who then gave us free nachos! We return the next day and had our dinner here which was beautiful. I can't wait to visit the area again to return here.

No.1 Shakespeare Street

1 Shakespeare St, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6RN, UK – 01789 264787

This spot is the best you'll get for a late night option in Stratford upon Avon. But it's very geared towards to teens to 20 something's. Having said that us 30 something's had a fun time dancing to the good tunes mixed by the dj

Good atmosphere. And good as it's kinda really the only proper club in stratford 😂.

Cox's Yard

Bridge Foot, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6YY, UK – 01789 404600

Quite nice and pretty big place to hang out with friends or family. Stuff was a little bit slow but it was not horrible. There is also possibility to play some desk games with friends, which is nice little bonus.

Bit overpriced for what it offers. Food is not particularly delicious but just decent. They don't serve napkins or steak knives, so you have to ask for these. Has a nice terrace and you can have your drinks literally by the river.
