The walking tour of Shakespeare's Stratford was fantastic. A great friendly guide who relived the mans life and had bags of theatrical flair to bring Shakespeare to life. Awesome Vakue!

Friendly and professional staff made a chore quite pleasant. They have some good rates for local sites.

Entertainment Nation Agency

Whitehouse Loft Kings Lane, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 0RD, UK – 0800 530 0035

where do I begin? Entertainment Nation provided an excellent service and their response rate was excellent, we booked Beat Union through them and they were absolutely amazing at our wedding on 01/07/2016 and we had so many comments on how excellent they were! Melissa was extremely helpful and got back to us immediately on any questions we had regarding the band and the music. We knew Beat Union would be fantastic, but they totally blew us and our guests away. Their song selections, instrumentals and vocals were absolutely outstanding. I couldn’t keep off the dance floor, I was having so much fun! I would thoroughly recommend Beat Union for any event, they are true professionals and very talented

A good company to do business with. They were prompt with their replies, very professional and thorough with their paperwork. Their detailed approach to the booking took all the worry away from choosing what was for us until then an unknown company and an unknown band. The band (Swing Collective) were fantastic. We would use Entertainment Nation again.

Brilliant company with great staff. Loved our boat, Blythe Valley. We had a wonderful weekend and would definately recommend this company.

Poor customer service but they are very down to earth and will just let you get on with it.

Boat Trips & Excursions - if available

Avon Boating Ltd

Swans Nest Boathouse, Swans Nest, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 7LS, UK – 01789 267073

Great experience, friendly staff and great views. Wouldn't recommend rowing in the rain and a strong current though!

We went on a rowing boat £6 per person so £12 didnt need a deposit for rowing boats that day. It was ok but it was so packed that day had to wait ages, Once we did get on and rowed away I thought it was very difficult to stick to a certain route as there were so many silly people really taking advantage of there time on the boats they would cut in frnt of yiu there were to many boats on the water all at once leading to alot of pressure and couldnt reslly enjoy it as much. I do think also that the people that own it could of given you an exact time bevause they say an hour but the Aston thing you check.is the time before you leave so we had to guess n ended up leaving to early so wasted money really. It was ok but I would of paid more than £12

Local Parks & Gardens

Bancroft Gardens

Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire CV37 6BA, UK – 01789 269196

Beautiful and clean. Lovely place to have a picnic. Entertainment is often not far away provided by street performers of a high standard and food of all varieties are all in close proximity not to mention the nature that surrounds this lovely area.

Seems well maintained. Beautiful and clean.

New Place Gardens

Chapel Ln, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6ER, UK – 0800 001066

I expected to be disappointed as there is no house, but the gardens are a delightful haven of calm.

All the trust places are must. Beautiful gardens.

Dodwell Park

Evesham Rd, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 9SR, UK – 01789 204957

Really good base for visiting Stratford, really nice couple run the site and can't do enough to help you . The site itself is clean and tidy and the toilet/ shower block is always clean as well . My only improvement I could wish for is a curfu for noise as last time we stayed we had a group partying till 01:30 which isn't fair to other people who wanted a quiet weekend and to the young couple next to us who had a very young baby with them . Apart from that a lovely place to stay

Great little site . Clean and very welcoming staff. Ideal location for visiting the area Gary

Great website!. Click below to find gardens open during the year around Lower Quinton or Warwickshire. There are photos and lots of detail about the garden.
Heritage Mews self catering

42 New St, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6BX, UK – 01564 778649

Shakespeare's New Place

22 Chapel St, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6EP, UK – 01789 338536

Very beautiful gardens, but the exhibition house could be updated more. Caught some Milan actors performing in the gardens at the time which was really good.

Beautiful courtyard. The biggest house in town at the time.

Anne Hathaway's Cottage

Cottage Ln, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 9HH, UK – 01789 338532

Beautiful thatched cottage with parts dating back 550+ years! Lived in by the Hathaway family for many generations. Opened to the public in early 20th Century (about 1911?)

Great place to spend a few hours in the sunshine. Beautiful house and Gardens. With so much history.
