There's been a tea room here since the 30s apparently; the building itself is older than that by more than 300 historic years, and both are wearing brilliantly and well worth a visit. Our large party of 9 was greeted warmly by charming and smiling staff in the bakery downstairs through which you enter, and tables were promptly rearranged upstairs in one of the many rooms. Walking past the array of home made cakes set out as you walk through from the bakery... was an exercise in serious temptation. Which some later indulged - as delicious as they promised! Our breakfast was fresh and tasty, typically English, with hash browns on offer which my American friends would love. We loved them too. Lashings of tea and proper toast... as yummy as breakfast should be. This is a serious tea room offering a friendly welcome, home baking and with breakfast and other fare available too. I am sure at times, in high season, it must be packed. It is well worth waiting, if so. Indulge yourself!
Deceptively small on the outside but more room upstairs. A quaint, cozy coffee/tea house serving soups and lunch as well. The mocha is the best I've tasted (except my own brew of course). Well worth a visit for great service and atmosphere.

I always love going here and ensure I visit as often as I can when I’m in the area. It can be very busy but takeaway is an option. Wonderful pork pies but the best thing is the cake. So many gorgeous, delicious cakes to choose from and all delightful. My favourite cake shop
The "five o'clock" afternoon tea set is gorgeous (and it is so cheap, just a little over 10 pounds)! Probably too much for one person, but it is incredibly tasty, especially the cake which has a delightful creamy texture and a strawberry jam inside. In case you wonder where to take a break from running through the city - consider this place. Convenient location and pleasant atmosphere as well.

Nice relaxing cafe serving good food and coffee. Came here for brunch and had scrambled eggs avocado and smoked salmon on toast and it was delicious. Really nice coffee too and the green smoothie was refreshing. Staff were friendly and helpful, we got served very quickly. The walnut and date flapjack was really good too.
Lovely, spacious modern restaurant with nice atmosphere: we had lunch here on a Sunday afternoon when the town was crowded with tourists. The restaurant is very attractive inside with high ceilings and lots of natural light. You can eat indoors or outside on 2 different patios. We ordered breakfast food and hot chocolate. Everything was very good. It's surprising to see such a large, spacious restaurant in old England. Highly recommended.

Delicious fish n chips & friendly staff, travelled 40 miles to eat here. Definitely recommed.

I have been going here for a year now and defo a veey good chip shop. Chips are excellent and they prefer to cook fish to order so although you may have to wait 6-10 mins I believe well worth it. Price is good, portion size good!
Best fish and chips in Stratford. Also they don't keep changing prices like others in the area. Top quality 😊

Food was fantastic staff not all English but very friendly very reasonable prices will be going there again when in the area fully recommend the fish it's great
The best chippy in Stratford. I've been a customer for 40 odd years.

Yummy ice cream with a huge range of flavors. All of the flavors here are incredibly rich and creamy. Can get pricey if you’re not careful—if you’re trying to be frugal, I would skip the sundaes and just order a single scoop (even if you order a single scoop, you can still get two flavors—half a scoop of each). If money is no object, go for one of the specialty sundaes, though don’t expect to finish it off yourself—they’re HUGE! Only complaint with this location is how slammed it gets, though I suppose that’s a testament to its quality.
We always go to Hoorays if we're in Stratford upon Avon. There's a wide variety of different flavour gelatos including a dairy free and also a vegan one. £2.95 for a regular scoop or two mini ones. It's always busy and you might have to queue to get in or for some of the limited seating. There's also an outside courtyard area.

Lovely atmosphere and great staff but food left a lot to be desired. Jacket potato was very over microwaved and some was inedible, tuna mayo had no taste, the 'salad' which accompanied it was just a few bits of limp, brown, slimy lettuce and nothing else. Husband had chicken and bacon sandwich which was great but again accompanied by the same brown, slimy, limp lettuce and the chips were tasteless and not hot. Such a shame the little touches let down a lovely place. Come on Dirty Duck chefs, pay a bit more attention to details on the plate. Nobody wants old bits of slimy lettuce on their plates, better to say the dish was unavailable or buy new salad items.
Very quirky and interesting but didn't want to eat there unfortunately. Every order of food we saw brought out was wrong! We sat out the front and as lovely as it was view wise, the use of a broom would of been nice. Very dirty and untidy to be honest. Would take 5 minutes a day to make it perfect.

Really nice spot on the river. Perfect for a few drinks in the evening. Within walking distance of the centre of Stratford as well as the leisure centre. Would definitely recommend.
Lovely riverside bar and restaurant, there are waterside seats and the service is very good. The staff are very helpful and the location is very nice. There are gigs and ecents on in the Bear theatre which is next door. Would recommend

Great food at a reasonable price, always popular and can be pretty busy, but they are very efficient so waiting time is very minimal. Staff are always very pleasant and helpful. Always clean inside and out.
Good well priced takeaway quick service

First time visit Avon . Just at the right time and right location I ran into this take away restaurant. Ordered food back to the hotel. I, a Chinese and my husband, a western guy. Both us enjoy the food very much. The kitchen treated me a bag of pawn crackers was taste good too. Definitely come again when I next visit Avon.
Always had a brilliant takeaway from this place. Don't go anywhere else now. Highly recommended for the quality of food.

Had have many takeaway curries from here with no problems actually enjoyed them very much, service was quick and staff were polite, food was good. But recently bought a curry and found a small chicken bone in it haven't been back since sure it's not common. Shame as it was good food.
Best food ever!Supperb service and very friendly staff!100% will come again

Fantastic prices for a curry house, always pleased with the service and the food. Will not disappoint this place continues to have my loyalty for where I buy my curry and when I eat out for one too. Lovely staff and atmosphere.
Great place, very accommodating even late at night. Delicious food!!!! You must try- you will not be dissapointed!
6A Chapel St, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6EP, UK – 01789 267506
Delicious! We ordered the #2 set menu and it was all good. There was more food than we could eat.
Great spot for Indian in Stratford! The venue is cozy and classy, and the waiters were helpful and attentive. The food was delicious, though I wish they’d spiced my Chili Chicken Tikka Masala a bit more—I like my hot food to be HOT. My date and I each got mango sorbets for dessert, which were alright, though not as delicious as the entrees. I recommend the garlic pilau rice if you like something flavorful to go with your curry. I will definitely return.
25 Sheep St, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6EF, UK – 01789 261485
Just finished a good sized portion of tasty fish and chips, sitting in to eat in a nice cool restaurant as it is hot and sunny. Takeaway also available.
Great food, nice place. Also nice to see a young man (16) working instead of getting into trouble. Will be returning

I visited McDonalds this afternoon and it was really busy but I asked at the counter if they did a vegetarian wrap as I couldn’t see one and was told sadly no but the young man then said he could do me a veggie Pattie cut up in the wrap with salad and dressing . He was so helpful and I really enjoyed. Great service 👌🏼
very clean and its a fairly quick service, obviously depends on how busy they are. This is in a very busy tourist town so can be busy thorughout the summer. Ice creams with a flake are cheaper than from the ice cream van (sorry not sorry) your kids won't mind but your pocket will thank you ;)

Vegan breakfast! Extremly clean and friendly I work around several other food places, and Gordon bleu’s is always my first choice! Gord works around any munchy you may be feeling from a quick snack to a full blown meal all served and cooked in front of you! Delicious range of ice creams and drinks for a hot day out and always served with a smile. Can’t recommend or thank Gordon enough for working around my dietary choices and showing me that even with a strict diet he can hit the taste buds better than perfect every time. 👌🏼👌🏼
I ordered the Chicken Strips and Chips and the quality of food for the price was unbelievable. Gordon Bleu is the perfect quick stop for anything from a sandwich, to a Sunday dinner. Gives McDonald's down the road and absolute run for their money. Well done!!!
