Cinemas around Lower Quinton

Stratford-upon-Avon Picturehouse - Cinema

Windsor St, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6NL, UK – 0871 902 5741

Small and friendly cinema. Staff are always welcoming and the bar is a good place to meet and grab a drink before going to see a film. Cinema shows the latest releases as well as a good selection of classic and arts related screenings. Comfortable, clean and a good venue.

Lovely, cosy cinema. Love coming here for a date as it's a lot more romantic and chilled out than somewhere like Cineworld where we would usually go. Feels more personal. Have not been much but staff have always been friendly and helpful when we have gone! Would recommend checking it out :)

Everyman Stratford - upon - Avon

Bell Court, Wood street, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6EX, UK – 0871 906 9060

Visited the new Everyman cinema today and I really can't recommend it enough. It's wonderful: beautiful inside, lush and welcoming, with food, drink, comfy chairs and a little balcony. You could easily hang out there all day, before you even watch a film. And the four screens: brilliant sound, great picture and all the sofa chairs are like sitting at home. The staff are simply lovely, parking just round the corner (though it's an NCP so prepare to fork out a tenner for 4 hours...gulp). People of Stratford, you're really lucky to have this on your doorstep. If you're thinking of going to see anything at the cinema, do consider going here - still worth the drive even if you don't live there. We'll be back. (When hopefully the new arcade the cinema sits in will have some additional tenants).

Sofas and pillows for seats, foot rests and enough space to lie down. This cinema is incredible and unlike any one I've ever been to before. Would definitely recommend!

Royal Shakespeare Company

Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Waterside, Warwickshire, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 6YF, UK – 01789 403493

Great theatre beautiful surroundings. The down side is the fact that I'm over 6ft tall, I found the seating excruciatingly restrictive. Although I loved the live theatre and I was seated only a few feet from the stage the discomfort marred my enjoyment. I prayed for the interval and the chance to stretch my legs. I also found some of the staff unsympathetic to my plight. Surely I'm not the only person to have been disappointed. However, meeting the cast after the performance was my highlight, and absorbing the fine architecture and having dinner in the wonderful Arden Hotel was exceptional. Addressing the restrictive narrow, uncomfortable seating should be a priority to allow full enjoyment of a beautiful theatre production.

If you love theatre... Always enjoyed what I have seen here. Good workshops for students as well as the general public. Restaurant has great food- though I have not been I know people that have.

The Swan Theatre

Waterside, Stratford-upon-Avon CV37 7LS, UK – 01789 403493

I love this theatre. Same thrust stage and layout as the larger RST but more intimate and more varied repertoire (and cheaper seats!)

Went for Drama coursework to write a report and ending up enjoying the play (The Rover) a lot more than i expected. It was absolutely fantastic! The seats were so comfortable and I was on the highest floor directly in the middle, audience was involved throughout whole performance, and I was even lucky enough to be sat next to Mark Gatiss!! Definitely want to go again
